1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the WAVFin Audio website or our software products (including plugins and extensions distributed through their respective channels), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Standalone products such as the DailyDock Chrome extension are also governed by their own privacy policy for on-device data practices. These Terms still apply to your use of the extension software itself.

2. Site Access & Security

WAVFin Audio takes reasonable measures to protect non-public areas of this site, including the dev portal. Ordinary public use is welcome — browsing the homepage, reading legal pages, and contacting support in good faith is not a problem.

You may not:

• Access or use areas of the site or dev portal you are not authorized to use
• Attempt to defeat, disable, or circumvent our security protections
• Use bots, scripts, or other automation to harass, overload, or extract data from protected areas
• Misrepresent your identity or authorization to obtain access

If we believe someone is targeting non-public areas or otherwise abusing our services, we will treat that conduct as unauthorized unless credible evidence shows otherwise through appropriate legal process. We may investigate the activity, preserve relevant records, block or revoke access, disable accounts, notify affected parties where appropriate, cooperate with law enforcement, and pursue any remedy permitted by law. An isolated mistaken login or a good-faith support message is not abuse.

3. Software License

Our plugins and software are provided to you under the following terms:

• Free License: Unless otherwise stated, our products are provided free of charge for both personal and commercial use.
• No Redistribution: You may not sell, redistribute, or re-host our software files on other platforms without our explicit permission.
• No Reverse Engineering: You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of our software.

4. Intellectual Property

The content, features, and functionality of this website and our software, including but not limited to code, design, graphics, and audio assets, are the exclusive property of WAVFin Audio and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Our products represent years of work — building them, learning the craft behind them, and refining them with care. We pour our heart and soul into what we release. That is why we protect our intellectual property strictly and expect others to respect it.

While WAVFin Audio offers most of our products free of charge, free access is not a license to steal, copy, redistribute, re-host, scrape, clone, or reverse engineer our work. We do not tolerate unauthorized use of our intellectual property in any form.

These terms are written in plain language so there is no reasonable excuse for misunderstanding them. This enforcement standard applies to intellectual property violations, not to ordinary website use covered in Section 2. If we detect unauthorized use, redistribution, reverse engineering, tampering, or any other activity that infringes or threatens our intellectual property, we will treat that conduct as intentional and in bad faith unless and until credible evidence proves otherwise through appropriate legal process or verified technical analysis. TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SOFTWARE IS FREE OF BUGS, VIRUSES, OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall WAVFin Audio be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of our service or software, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new terms on this site. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

8. Communications and Preferences

If we offer marketing or release-update emails, they are sent only to users who have opted in. Cookie and consent preferences on this site help us respect your analytics and promotional settings, but necessary site functionality may still require limited local storage or session data.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maine, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. You agree that any dispute arising from these terms or your use of our services may be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maine, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
